Unlocking Your Coverage - Before you can download map detail to a data card or directly to your compatible Garmin GPS, you must "unlock" the software. A certificate included with this software allows you to “unlock” the entire region. Simply follow the instructions on the included certificate. Internet access is required for the unlock process. Next, download data to a data card or to your compatible Garmin unit.
