The
Geko series are the smallest and lightest waterproof GPS units to hit
the market, they weigh just over 3 ounces!
The Geko
301 offers all the same features as the Geko 201
plus a built-in electronic compass, and a barometric altimeter. The
electronic compass provides bearing information even while you're standing
still. The barometric altimeter determines your precise altitude, and
also provides a digital readout of such data as ascent and descent rate,
total climb distance, and vertical speed. The Geko 301 can also plot
pressure trends for a 12-hour period, allowing the user to anticipate
changing weather conditions.
