Setting up AgMap on Nuvi Series GPS 

For AgMap to work properly, the “Unpaved Road” Avoidance
should be turned off within the Garmin. To do so press
“Tools” from the opening screen, then “Settings”, then
“Navigation”, and then “Avoidances”. Then, simply scroll
to the bottom of the page and press ‘Unpaved Roads’ so
it’s not checked. This will ensure the GPS Navigates you
properly when travelling on Twp/Rge Roads. 


Searching for a Quarter Section 

From the opening screen press “Where to?”, then press“Points of Interest”, then press “Spell Name” then typeyour legal in the following format...

Please note that the dashes are not necessary andthe legal can also be entered as shown below...

Make sure not to any leading zeros when searching.
For example a Township number would be entered as“70” not “070”.
