GTM™ 10 FM TMC traffic receiver - The GTM 10 is a small FM-band traffic receiver that connects with a car radio/antenna system to provide real-time Traffic Message Channel (TMC) data. Compatible Garmin units use this data to automatically calculate and suggest alternative routes based on the traffic information. Professional installation is recommended. In the U.S., the GTM 10 traffic receiver comes with a 15-month trial subscription to Clear Channel TMC. Traffic services are available only in select cities where RDS-TMC coverage exists.

GTM 12, FM TMC Traffic Receiver - The GTM 12 is a FM RDS-TMC traffic receiver. It receives digital information (where available) on traffic, road construction and weather-related tie-ups which your compatible Garmin uses to offer an alternate route. Traffic services are available only in select cities where RDS-TMC coverage exists (Currently no coverage for Canadian Cities).
